We all can intuitively determine that mobile is growing. Just watch people at a restaurant sharing photos, texts and snaps. The phone is on more than it is off.  This routine is playing out at work, the gym and at home.20161103_facebook_users

No where is this trend more obvious than on Facebook.  In a recent report by Facebook and graphically portrayed statista, “mobile-only” use is beating the other views combined.

As you can see by the chart, by mid-year of 2015 mobile only active users for Facebook skyrocketed. This has implications for Facebook promoted posts, landing pages, videos and website responsiveness.

If you are glaring at your website in a desktop view to determine your overall design, you may want to re-orient yourself to the smaller mobile view and start there–that is where your audience is starting.

One of his most popular YouTube videos is on “How to Look Good on Zoom.” One of Mark’s fondest business memories was being named to INC 500 two times and attending the INC 500 conference with other winners. Mark is considered by some a Civil War expert (and that explains his novel). Mark also served as an adjunct professor in the business and in the communications departments at Wartburg College. Mark is a graduate of the University of Iowa and is currently vice president of the University of Iowa Journalism and Mass Communications Advisory Board. Mark is married to state Sen. Liz Mathis, and the two love to travel, even when it means being trapped by a volcano in the Czech Republic for three weeks.
