As a project coordinator at AMPERAGE, Daisy Boehmer is deeply committed to supporting her team in any way she can. She takes pride in ensuring everything runs smoothly by carefully managing timelines, organizing resources and fostering open communication with clients. Her natural curiosity, combined with her positivity and keen attention to detail, makes her an invaluable team member.
Before becoming an AMPer, Daisy graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Public Administration. At UNI, she earned a State & Local Government certificate and was recognized as a Bright Scholar and a member of Phi Eta Sigma, maintaining an impressive 3.82 GPA.
Her passion for civic engagement and politics led her to organize the “You’re Next” leadership conference, empowering women to get involved in politics. She also served as a public administration consultant for the Black Hawk County Democrats, where she helped develop a strategic plan alongside Dr. Jayme Renfro and local leaders.
In addition to her academic and professional accomplishments, Daisy took on leadership roles such as Social Media Coordinator for the Criminology Club, where she increased public engagement, and as a Student Ambassador for SABRS, working closely with the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences Dean’s Office.
Outside of work, Daisy enjoys kayaking, skiing and antique shopping. On the weekends, you can find her finishing a puzzle or watching true crime shows.
