Four Oaks TotalChild Campaign
“Four Oaks needed help to communicate a progressive child welfare program, demonstrate our success and encourage stakeholders to invest in us. Amperage helped develop a feasibility study that asked the right questions and focused on a fundraising target that was realistic. With Amperage, we met the challenge and exceeded our fundraising goals on time and on budget. In the end, children and families are the winners.”
Anne Gruenewald, Four Oaks President and CEO
Four Oaks, a nonprofit child welfare, juvenile justice and behavioral health agency headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, provides holistic prevention, intervention and treatment programs and services to children and families.
Amperage worked with Four Oaks to brand TotalChild, an innovative initiative to further the organization’s mission of “assuring children become successful adults.”
Subsequently, Amperage conducted a feasibility study that tested fundraising required to operate the program and funding for capital to reinvigorate a neighborhood in which many TotalChild families live.
Favorable results from the feasibility study led Amperage consultants to recommend proceeding with a fundraising campaign to raise $6 million for capacity and capital needs of TotalChild. Four Oaks then asked Amperage to serve as campaign consultants.
