Creative as a Force for Good

A patient’s quality of life improves. A foster-care child is adopted. A nonprofit breaks ground on a dream new facility. A student finds the right college. A new family secures their first house. A business makes a connection half a world away.

These are the significant ways our creative positively impacts people’s lives. It is this vision that drives our work. Our purpose-powered campaigns inspire action toward a better world. It is creative that moves people and moves the needle. A force for good in our communities, our country and our world.

We believe in doing work that positively impacts people’s lives in significant ways. So it’s no surprise that our areas of focus are healthcare, education, nonprofits, finance & insurance, and manufacturing/B2B.

Electric culture

Our work positively impacts people’s lives in significant ways.

Our culture is based on building brands with purpose and branding with style

Culture is more than ping-pong tables in the office and Bring Your Dog to Work days. Culture is the underlying energy we bring to our work, our clients and each other.

Tiffini

The impact occurs in momentous moments

From special-needs adoption to specialized children’s heart surgery, from a nonprofit groundbreaking to breaking out the Champagne for a first-time homebuyer — all are the result of sophisticated marketing that adds energy and momentum to people’s lives.

The Coveted Golden Chicken Awards

When your branding line is ‘Move the Needle,’ the only award worth winning is results. But there is still a need to recognize work that stands on the legs of creative work and great results.

After finding that most advertising awards shows are designed only to generate money and many employed disconcerting judging procedures, AMPERAGE decided to no longer enter creative awards shows. It was a difficult decision, but one right for the economic times and for client needs. The problem is that awards do not take into account the most important criterion. That single standard is the ultimate success of the creative work.

So we designed our own internal awards program that honors creative, strategy and, most importantly, execution. You must Move the Needle or no award is given.

We call the awards the Golden Chickens. Why a chicken? Chicken symbolism asks you to take the time for internal evaluation, and that is what we are doing. There is also a story of a chicken on a photo shoot that adds to the chicken folklore.
