To build awareness of both Hayward Area Memorial Hospital’s surgery center expertise and the latest robotics technology, AMPERAGE recommended a new creative execution to attract attention and effectively message their story.
“We crafted two animated commercials for the surgery campaign,” said Erin Bishop, VP of Strategy at AMPERAGE Marketing & Fundraising. “Surgery covers a wide variety of specialties that it is difficult to visualize in 15 seconds.”
The videos answered, “Why travel far when big city care and technology are right here in the place you know and love?”
The AMPERAGE video production team used animation to allow for a broader creative brush to achieve a more approachable and compelling set of commercials. Animation’s artistry and flexibility create greater memorability and interest. And to promote the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital Surgery Center, AMPERAGE digital media team added OTT (over-the-top streaming media placement) to the marketing mix, including YouTube, Google Search, Display and Social.
“We designed the original campaign to run for three months,” said Bishop. “The hospital extended the campaign another three months due to the positive results.” The OTT ads achieved nearly 114,00 views and the YouTube ads 20,000 views.
