CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—Michael Smith joins AMPERAGE Marketing & Fundraising’s video production team as a video editor. Smith’s role reaches beyond the script as he focuses on bringing sight and sound together to tell a compelling story for clients.

Smith brings more than 22 years of broadcast and non-broadcast production experience to his role at AMPERAGE. Previously, Smith was senior video editor at Invision Media in Chicago. Clients he worked with at Invision Media included WMS Games, ExxonMobil and Cintas. Additionally, he has had a variety of video production roles, including editor/post production supervisor at NeWave Media in Chicago. There, Smith worked with Lucas Oil Products and the National Hot Rod Association in addition to editing national television programs, “Beer Money,” “On The Edge” and “Boiling Point.”

Smith is the recipient of 14 Telly Awards and was twice named Jordan Whitney Infomercial Editor of the Year. Smith earned his bachelor’s degree in electronic media from Waldorf College (now Waldorf University), in Forest City, Iowa. He is originally from Waterloo, Iowa.
