Last Blog of the Year
I made a few predictions for the year and I thought I’d see how I did: Google has now made my responsive sites recommendation a requirement; My prediction of more platform sizes not fewer looks to be in good shape; Social media is beginning to find ROI traction; and the search for content quality, not quantity is a still a bit iffy.
To me, the last issue is the most important for the coming new year. People are searching. But they are not searching in a window shopping-esque manner. Internet searches are seeking specific information–that’s why we use key words to identify the need in search engine optimization. Weak content is not king of the digital world. User experience will drive the future of content creation and distribution. The watchwords for 2016 should be “real and relevant.”
So have a real and relevant holiday season.
