Americans will spend more than $9 billion on Halloween this year, and nearly 70% of the U.S. will celebrate or participate in Halloween activities.
Despite all the interest and a positive PR environment (except for the scary clown costumes), Halloween is not utilized as a promotional device for most businesses. It seems like the December holidays get most of the effort. Yet Halloween is a growing holiday in interest and activity.
This is a great time to differentiate yourself and be the first to make a holiday connection in the fourth quarter of the year. If you want to swim out of the sea of sameness, look for other ponds. Halloween could be your new pond.
