Fundraising Professional Brighid Hansen Retires After Illustrious Career

Brighid Hansen retires from fundraising (photo)After more than four decades of fundraising and providing consultation for nonprofits, Brighid Hansen is retiring on August 31. Her retirement, which was in the works prior to AMPERAGE Marketing & Fundraising’s acquisition of Hansen Henley Yoder & Lamb (HHYL), marks the end of an incredible career servicing regional, national and international nonprofits.

“It’s a bittersweet moment,” said Hansen. “I’m excited to embrace retirement, but it’s difficult to leave my wonderful colleagues, partners and friends. That said, this is a great time as I know our clients are in incredible hands with the AMPERAGE team.”

Hansen has raised hundreds of millions of dollars throughout her career for clients in healthcare, education, conservation, arts and culture, and social services. Fundraising for clients through capital, endowment, comprehensive and annual campaigns amounted to a wealth of experience that Hansen has been sharing with her AMPERAGE colleagues.

“Brighid has made the transition extraordinarily smooth,” said Jennifer Rubel, Director of Fundraising at AMPERAGE. “We wish her the best as she embarks on this new chapter. It has been a delight to work with her, and we hope she enjoys this well-deserved time.”
