In 2023, AMPERAGE helped clients by moving away from virtual and hybrid events, understanding that individuals want more engagement and personal involvement with the charities they support. This is also noted in the success of nonprofit storytelling and the ability to share your organization’s story and client testimonials through various print, electronic or video mediums.
Charitable giving has also become more diversified, with corporations looking to make a greater impact on society and individuals choosing to donate through other avenues such as IRAs or donor-advised funds.
In what may be seen as a challenging climate to raise private fundraising dollars due to inflation and an uncertain economy, several AMPERAGE clients kicked off public phases of their capital campaigns in 2023: Cedar Falls Historical Society, National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, Waverly Child Care & Preschool and the MacPhail Center for Music.
